This is the weekend of the convention where I will be featured on Sunday night. I have spent the whole day getting everything ready for my presentation......very excited. I will take pictures and post them for all my faithful bloggers.
I have been photographing this child since I first started photography. He was a cracker jack then and he is now. He is one of my most favorite children to photograph. You never know what in the world is going to roll out of his mouth. This time he kept me laughing. I just have to share this one with you all. I was posing him and so I was placing his feet in the correct positions and he looked at me and frowned at me and said "Hey Hey!!!"....."The box says FRAGILE". I thought I was going to die. That was the funniest thing. I wish I could have caught that on tape.
Then when he and his mom (Sara) came to choose there images....after watching their slide show...Sara said "how am I going to choose...I love them all" Luke said "I don't know but you better not waist my birthday money on them" He is such a turd!!! LOL. I just love that child....you don't have to worry about what he is thinking.
I wanted to share this with all my clients who have allowed me to be creative and let me do my thing. I couldn't have done this without you!!!
I was recently contacted by the President of a Professional Photographer Association who is a Master Photographer. She said she was so impressed with me and my work. She said she thought I could inspire others. She would like to feature me as one of the up and coming "Stars" at the President's Reception during the convention at the end of the month. She said there will be a place set up for me to display my marketing pieces, products that I offer to my clients and my images so members can come up and ask me questions about what I do and how I do it. I am so thrilled...this is such a huge accomplishment for me.
She also ask me to send her a picture of me for the advertisement......I thought......I don't have a picture of me.....I take the pictures...so I am not in them.....so I had to take one...that was the hardest session I have ever done......bar none. I took 298 shots and only liked 2 of them!!! Do you know how hard it is to take a professional shot of yourself? Boy....I sure am glad I know photoshop!!! lol
When I get the advertisement I will post it on here for you all to see and I will have Jerome take some pictures during the convention so I can share them with all my wonderful clients who have inspired me to get better and better over the last 4 years.
