Little Mrs. Impatience Part 3

Ok....I just have to share this story with my blog followers. Last night about 9:30 pm (I think) I was sitting on my couch and my cell phone beeps indicating that I have a text message. It is Lori (one of my good clients who happens to work with Misty or Little Mrs. Impatience as I like to call her). Please keep in mind that we have Misty's preview session scheduled for Saturday (day after tomorrow at the time) she informs me that she and Misty are in Scott County working really late and they are going to going by an exit that is close to my studio and they want to come and preview Misty's (Little Mrs. Impatience's) images tonight. But they wouldn't be by there until about 11:00 pm or later. I got really tickled because this didn't surprise me in the least from Misty or Lori....Lori is like fuel to a fire if you know what I mean ;). So I text her back and told them that would be fine. I don't think they expected that reply from me. She then replied and told me she was just kidding so I called them and we laughed so hard I about pee'd my pants. To make a long story short I was at the studio doing that preview session at 1:00 in the morning with those two nuts!!! Now that is customer service you won't find at many place in this country!!! I do love my faithful clients. Thanks Misty and Lori....I had a blast!!!

Little Mrs. Impatience Part II

I am working on Misty's images STILL. I just got through processing one of Reagan's and it is my ALL TIME FAVORITE.....ever....out of all the session I have done.....out of all the shots I have taken....ever. This WILL be on my wall for display in a very LARGE print! I will post it soon.

Little Mrs. Impatience

Here is a "sneak peek" for Misty. I love her so much and I know she loves me too because she is calling or sending me a message on Facebook the very evening of the day of her session wondering if I have them done yet. lol. I know how much she loves to see her pictures and she has been patiently (in Misty's impatient way) waiting for her pictures....so I don't have them all done but I thought I would post a couple of her's and I though she might like the ones I chose because it is Mason's birthday. So here you go Misty and Happy Birthday Mason!

 

 

Wedding

I just booked a wedding. Yes I know I said I wasn't going to do weddings but.....this person called me and said I came highly recommended by a family who have been great clients so....how could I say no. I am excited...very excited because this is not a wedding like I have done before. It is not going to be at a church. I love a new challenge and I love doing new things. Sometimes it is easy to get "burned out" on weddings so I don't accept many but I am really excited about this one. Oh did I mention they is from Michigan?

The Beaty's

I recieved a comment on Facebook from one of my clients, April Beaty, that I would like to share with my blog readers.

 

April writes......"Thank you ... those words seem small when I look at the pictures where you were able to capture those little moments that reflect so much!  I'm only thankful you turn the lights down when viewing the pictures, I told myself I wouldn't get all teary and did anyway .... but with your work it's hard not to.   Thank you so much.  I can't wait to get the pictures!"

Comments like this are what I work for. The money pays the bills but these comments feed my heart. My favorite part of the process is watching proud parents or loved ones seeing the images for the first time. I just love it. People have often ask me why they can't preview their images online instead of coming into the studio and that is why.....I am selfish that way...I guess you could say that is my pay and those little tears that you were talking about....that walls up in your eyes..... is my BIG bonus.....the more the tears the bigger the bonus for my heart.

April.....I am so very glad you loved your images. You have a very beautiful family and I enjoy capturing this time in your lives that soon will just me memories. I hope these portraits always bring back this special time.
